The number of Arab League players in the FWC 2018 has dramatically increased since the last World Cup

The number of Arab League players has dramatically increased since the last World Cup. There has been almost a five-fold increase in the number of footballers from the Arab countries have appeared on Russia with relation to Brazil 2014. 30 players from the Saudi Professional League, 10 from the Egyptian Premier League, 6 from the Première Ligue de Football Professionnel and 2 each from each: Gulf Arab League, Qatar Stars League and Botola - checked in World Cup Russia. In Brazil, however, there were 11 players from Arabian leagues.
