The ranking is based on three procedures:

1. 1. Inter-Continental League Points (ICLP) is the procedure on the basis of which the performance of clubs in international competition is measured according to the ELO method (the results obtained are then transposed into values assigned to the national leagues in which these clubs play matches);
   2. Flow Impact Index (FI2) is the procedure on the basis of which the performance of players in international competitions of national teams is measured according to the method of the KA AIF (then the results obtained are transposed into values assigned to the national leagues in which these players play matches);
   3. Nations Football Reputability Index (NFRI) shows the position of the country in the football world, from the perspective of its overall recognition, reputation, prestige and quality of players (and then transposes and switch the index score to leagues managed by the rated country).

Ranges, Tiers & Classes

The KA Ranking has 4 (four) Tiers.

Each of the Tier is divided into Classes. The highest Tier has two Classes. The others have 3 Classes.

• World Tier  (1 Ultimate & 2 Top)
• Continental Tier   (3 Upper, 4 Prime & 5 Lower)
• Inter-Zone Tier  (6 Upper, 7 Middle & 8 Lower)
• Domestic Tier  (9 Intermediate, 10 Secondary & 11Elementary)

Classes, with the exception of the Classes assigned to the lowest Tier, are marked with asterisks, from 6 to 0.5 asterisk (white asterisk). They are called “the Chamber” The 9th and the 10th class constitute of “the Antechamber” Range. The 11th Elementary Class is recognized as “the Yard”. It is divided into subclasses (degrees): National, Union, Regional and Local.

• Chamber ★ – Classes 1-8
• AnteChamber ➚ – Classes 9-10
• Yard ⬇︎ – Class 11
