Among the divisions of the second level, the most numerous league was Qatargas League, with 7 players from the Oman and Yemen national teams. The most “international” representation was the Australia, because the footballers from this country play on a day-to-day basis in 13 leagues, and only 3 of them participate in the homeland league. 4. Impact Rating of Leagues & Clubs
The ratings show which leagues and clubs were the most influential and had the biggest impact on the results in the AFC Asian UAE Cup. The ratings are the result of a combination of data regarding the number of players playing in specific leagues and clubs and the outcomes of the national teams to which they were capped. Therefore, Qatari league & clubs achieved top positions in both ratings. However, it’s far away from the dominance, which the English Premier League has got usually at the World Cup.
