Meaning of the Asian continental ranking versus global ranking
The Asian continental rankings (Asian Leagues Ranking & Asian Clubs Ranking) have a technical nature because they show a position of a league or club only from the perspective of international cups like Champions League. If you want to find more accurate ranking with relation to actual football strength and quality you must look at the KA Football Leagues Global Rating or the KA Football Club Global Rating. The global leagues ranking consider also world-wide attraction and reputability of the league, as well as of the country of league. In the case of the global club ranking we can see difference to an even greater extent. The global club ranking refers since also to a position of a club in the domestic games, as well as takes into consideration a position of the league in the word. It means that clubs playing games in high rated leagues, but rarely participate in the continental competitions they also appear in that global ranking, sometimes on decent spots.
ELO AFC – International Matches Leagues & Clubs Performance Rankings
Every club receives the points for match outcomes according to the ELO method scheme. India
Previously I-League was the highest tier league in the Indian football system. The new Indian Super League (ISL), franchise-based league was officially launched on 21 October 2013. Initially AFC was recognising the ISL as a tournament, not a league. The ISL has been granted official recognition by the AFC in 2017, that was meaning there were two collateral top divisions in India from 2017/18. India clubs agreed to work together on league roadmap, according to it, among others, since season 2019-20, the ISL will attain the status of premiere league competition in Indian football and not later then season 2024-25, it will be implemented of a fully promotion and relegation system into the top league, and there will be an abolition of two parallel leagues. Indian Super League become the sole top-tier league in the country from 2022–23 season. I-League has lost the top-tier status, although the champion of the I-League will stand a chance to be promoted to the ISL with no participation fee. The first season of ISL with the new status it starts to be played from 7 October 2022 and scheduled to end in March 2023.
Palestine
Palestine is a member of FIFA & AFC. Due to political reason the football division system is parted into two: the West Bank league system, with the West Bank Premier League, as the top division, and the Gaza Strip system, with the Gaza Strip Premier League as of the highest level division on this territory.
the Ranking Points, RPS and IC3
The Ranking Points are calculated according to the ELO Method. As regards of leagues these points are a derivative of the values obtained by clubs. RPS (Relative Point Score) is the value that arises from that the ELO points obtained in the ranking are converted into the common formula used in the KA system, which allows you to compare values from different continental rankings and combine these values to determine global rankings. IC3 (Inter-Continental Club Coefficient) is an indicator dedicated only for clubs and it is based on the continental ranking points, taking into account the index of the continent (Power Index Federation). It is very important indicator for the KA Football Club Global Rating.
